Introduction
The Journal Quality List is a collation of journal rankings from a variety of sources. It is published primarily to assist academics to target papers at journals of an appropriate standard. It is not intended to be used for staff evaluation purposes.
The list was originally collated while the editor was associated with the Bradford University School of Management (1997-2001). Since then, the list has been updated and extended periodically to keep it current. The Journal Quality List comprises academic journals in the disciplinary area of Business & Economics.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the Journal Quality List, the editor will not be held responsible for omissions or errors. The current version of the JQL contains 11 different rankings of more than 840 journals.
Please note: crowd-sourcing your input
After 25 years of regular updates, continued maintenance the JQL has become a bit of a burden; I have no support - financial or human - for this. So if you spot any inaccuracies or omissions, please contact me by email. That way we can keep this resource accurate and accessible to all. If you have information about updated lists, please also let me know, so I can include them in the next update.
